Navadarsha Premier League 2011 – 30th April, 2011

With great enthusiasm and spirit, the First Navadarsha Premier League Cricket Tournament took off amidst floodlight and cheering crowd. The afternoon spell of quick shower did not dampen the spirit, instead it helped the team to work out by preparing the pitch once again! Who fought out to clinch the title?

Aha! there was not only DEVILS in PINSTRIPES… it was the team of RED DEVILS, don’t mistake the WARRIORS in shining armor, they came fighting as BLUE WARRIORS and did you see the tigers who came out of their den roaring as the WHITE TIGERS to take on the BLACK DRAGONS in the Grand Finale.

The cheering by the little ones added to the fun in the night that saw the presentation ceremony as the BLACK DRAGONS won to clinch the First ever NPL 2011. The winning shot of 4 runs marked the end of the tournament and called out for the NEXT NPL….
